Jazz goes Keti Koti: music, spoken word and art in the courtyard
On Sunday June 30th we deviate from our regular Jazz programming for a special Keti Koti edition which pays attention to the abolishment of slavery worldwide. A unique cultural and musical program will be taking place in collaboration with Waterkant Amsterdam in the courtyard of H’ART Museum.

About this special edition
A varied program has been put together to consider the contexts of Suriname and the Dutch Antilles, but also beyond. The Caribbean region, many African countries and parts of North and South America have also experienced slavery at the hand of colonialism. Performers with various backgrounds and styles will share their artistic perspective on this global history.
